How to have a positive attitude?

What is positive attitude?

                       A dead end problem is put before a group of persons(say10 persons).Definitely each and everyone will be having different views on the problem but only 2 from that group will find solutions for it and other 2 will try their level best in arriving at the solution and the rest 6 will say  "PROBLEMS ARE ALWAYS PROBLEMS,THESE CANNOT BE SOLVED AT ALL,LEAVE IT AND SEE YOUR WORK".These 6 persons are the negative minded persons and the rest 4 are the positive minded persons. The reason why I said that 2 persons will find the solutions whereas other 2 will try their level best is to show the difference between the skill set of different persons but more importantly it was to show that a person with low skill set is also respected if he has positive attitude and remains as a man of values.(I will come up soon with one post on the values that constitute an individual).

How to develop a positive attitude?

     whenever,a problem arises or we face a difficult situation in life.It's like two faces of a coin,both positive and negative things will be associated with it. It's up to us to decide on which side to look upon? Before one year,I was more of a pessimistic person but now gradually changing as an optimistic person. Once I made a mistake for which a gathering of 200 laughed at me and the mistake which I did was so ridiculous.After this incident happened,I was sad and depressed for some time but after some time realized that the incident happened was a chance for me to learn my negatives and correct it.From then on,I am not committing that mistake.Because of looking something on a positive note,I am able to correct one of my negative whereas if had looked upon it on a negative note,I could not have corrected my negative and could have been depressed for some more days. Once you become a positive minded person,then the life which you are going to experience will be beautiful,joyful and pleasant.

Normally we see some people who are all the time enthusastic,full of energy and remains in a good mood all the time. If you make a research on them,you will come to know that it is mainly because of their positive nature and not because of anything.If a person behaves in a different way at different situations which people call it as mood,then definitely he is a victim of that situation and not able to control himself or the things surrounding him.This is mainly because of not seeing the situation in a positive note.

whenever an incident happens,know both positives and negatives of it but think on the brighter side of it alone and try to find a solution for it.Every problem will definitely have a lot of solutions.Think in a positive way.you will surely able to choose an optimum solution from a list of available solutions.This may be difficult at the beginning but soon you will see miracles happening in your life. I have written this article on my own experience and from some of the articles which I have come across from some sources. Follow it and see the difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How to become a good speaker?

Here good speaker in the sense,I am not referring politicians. I am referring about professional speakers who give presentations for Engineering and B school students and for corporates too.

Nowadays presentations and guest lectures have become a vital part of our professional life. whether we like are dislike,we need to attend these sessions for atleast 2 times per month. But making these sessions interesting and informative completely depends on the speakers. When delivered properly,the benefits which we are gaining out of it is tremendous. we can get  immense knowledge on a particular topic in a maximum of 2 hours which normally will take 2 days when we search and read the same from books,net and other sources. so after listening to a lot of guest lectures and presentations,I am coming out with some suggestions which may help you to improve yourself as a great speaker.

since I am a part of audience and also writing this from audience point of view,I believe everything which I am going to say will definitely help you.

1. Make the ppt's simple and attractive and use images wherever possible.At any cost,dont make it complicate.
2. Make sure that,while preparing slides you use light colour background and dark colour text.
3. Dont add more than 8 lines per slide and dont type the entire lecture on the slide.
4. Spend some time and decide what are the things you are going to discuss under the topic and add some key points alone in the slide.
5. Keep a lot of things on your mind to speak other than the things listed on the ppt.
6. Polish your lecture or contents with a lot of real time examples and applications.
7. Touch upon the current happenings in the globe then and there.
8. While delivering presentation,crack a joke once in 10 minutes which would leave the listeners in splits.
9. If possible,add up a case study.
10. Add some video clippings to your presentations which would definitely enhance your lecture.
11. Make the session interactive and make the audience also to speak on certain areas.
12. while delivering,have a slight smile on your face and be confident.
13. Take care of your voice clarity,tone,modulation,body language and gestures.
14. Take care of your dressings too,normally formals will be the best fit for such occassions.
15. Display a lot of energy by means of your face and body language.

              This are some of my suggestions and  I hope this article will definitely help you.Having said these things,dont think that I am a great speaker.Actually I am a novice in this and trying a lot in getting myself better.I have just written it on a way how we give feedback after watching a movie.I am also going to follow all the aforementioned things in the upcoming class seminars and let's see what are the differences the above listed items are going to make in our seminars!!!

Reasons why I dislike vijay

when I commented about vijay on facebook,some of them asked why I hate vijay? I was not able to give  my explanation in a elaborate manner there. so I am giving it here.

I too a fan of him during his kushi amd gilli days(I was a school going kid that time). But then on, time has changed and he also has changed a lot. Humbleness is the essential character for any human on the earth. but he will ask humbleness is how many kg's? he often compares himself with MGR and RAJNIKANTH and doesn't know how to respect his seniors in the industry(those who want to know more about it,take some old tamil weekly's and read his interviews).Not only in cinefield, whichever may be the industry if we not respecting our seniors,we are lost. some from his side may easily escape by blaming the great SAC,his honourable dad. but vijay is not a kid,he is in his mid 30's and earning in crores and enjoys a big fame too.he can easily stop his dad from doing all the unnecessary things but he wont.The doctrate which he received from loyola made me to pissed off. I want to know what for,he got doctorate.There is some respect for doctorate and people have to struggle a lot to get it. But since he is having more money and power he got it very easily.

There is a old saying in tamil that "arpanuku vaalvu vanda artha raatirila kodai pidipaan" This holds good for him 100%. In lollu shaba, almost every movie is criticized and even the legends takes it in a lighter note. But he couldn't withstand it and sent thugs and auto's to vijay tv's office when they made a show on pokiri. That shows his character(but the funny guy now cannot control millions of  sms jokes and mails which are circulated on him). Vijay tv apologized for it later.

He wants to create a image for himself and does some rubbish movies. he doesn't has any interest on movies and he just uses his cinema career to strengthen his fan base and use them for his personal benefits to satisfy his political aspirations. Anyone can come to politics,but if vijay wants to come,why he is using cinema as a base and playing with many innocent fans? let him enter politics immediately and announce his policies,if people like it let them vote. In a country like India,where still education is still a dream for many,those people are easily falling prey to this kind of cunning persons. he wants to earn in crores and at the same time wants to become cm and for that he is using his innocent fans. If he does some charity for 10 rs, he is advertising it for 10000 rs just to create a good image on him and cheat people. even during kavalan release, he exaggerated the simple issue and criticized the ruling party that they didn't allow the movie to release. The distributors and theathre owners very well knows what is the issue and how he exaggerated it?  and his fans are the height of exasperation for many. They would rate one of the ever useless movie sura as one of the world's finest movie.They cannot bear even if a single negative comment is passed on their hero and use all abusive words and all bad actions whatever possible.

so guyz please stop going behind this man. Already we are not able to make any progress because of movie stars ruling us. let some good administrators come and rule and lead our nation in a developing side. many may not think on this angle and will be watching his movies, so after reading this please think. still if you want vijay to rule us in the future(This is not funny,this may also happen if current trend continues)then go behind and sing praises on him...

Hi to everyone,

                     I am sathish from coimbatore.Starting a blog has been on my mind for months but since I was busy with my studies I was unable to find time to start the blog and  update it often. Now since the exams have been over and I got a solid 10 days holidays, I feel this is the right time to start it. The reason why I chosen fun and living as the name was both fun and life are interrelated.Fun is the catalyst that will keep the life engaging.Fun is so important in everyoneone's life.

                           Then a question will arise whether fun is the only thing in life?

                   The answer for this question would be definitely NO?
